Have been using Sorbo Glide for a few weeks now to see if it would help with pole work. Somtimes the blade seems to "grab" the window, as though it was still dry and takes a lot of energy to overcome. I feel it helps a bit but could be emagining it! Iv'e been experimenting a lot with different solutions. Even tried soap powder in with the washing-up liquid which worked fantastic. Great slip but, it's a big but, it dries white on the glass so much so that it's a no no.
Would using a hard blade instead of soft help? Any other idea's , and don't say WFP. (might do that but not yet)
Chris.

 Huh?

I used sorbo glide and added it to water and found it to be great, then the next day added what i thought to be the same amount and there was no slip at all (rubbish).I think the amount you use needs to be spot on to get the result your looking for,it also depends on how much water you have in the bucket.

You use the water softner powder as well, I've had success with that. I've got used to GG4 now!

I use Winsol Super Slip and keep it in a GG3 floater bottle so I can measure the exact amount recommended every time. Keeps the guesswork out of it.

Thanks for your help guys. This is a brilliant site. Glad I found it, and special thanks to Peter who runs it.
Been doing a test today without Sorbo and it seems the same. I was told that not all glass is the same and some  glass is realy difficult.
Chris.

Sorbo Glide is supposed to be used with window cleaning liquid, not on its own,you mix it with the solution.
