Funny you should use the exact same stuff from Lidl - I've been using the same But I still prefer the Wagtail cloth. I find the Lidl stuff still too heavy for closing out.

I have to admit, I had my first full day using this today, and did find it a bit heavy and cumbersome, and thought about putting the wagtail mop back on for a bit, not sure yet.........

I've had more luck with a cut-up porcupine & the scrubbing action is great. But still - a touch too heavy.

Tony, try cutting the original pad at the corners. I never just leave the pad as it comes. I always trim them up myself. If you cut the velcro off at the corners, it then does not interfere with the window frame. If you leave it as it comes, then it is strong enough to push the blade away from the edge of the frame leaving a big bit to detail. Your pad should look CURVED at the ends rather than square.

I'll try that. Ta.

Ooh-er, you're a braver man than me. I also got that grey one, but thought it could scratch. Did you try it on tempered glass?

iv been this using this "grey balcony floor scrubber"on every type of glass , with no problems . its holding a good amount of water too.
today was a real test of it - behind a house was the cheapest quality conservatory i ever did see , it has plastic windows instead of glass . i hesitated for a second or so ,case the balcony scrubber scratched but it didnt and i looked closely
good old AQUAPUR , theyre onto a winner
