I've just recently bought the Wagtail Whirlwind.  I find it excellent, very fast indeed, consistently 25% faster than traditional tools (i've timed it over and number of days).  Obviously wagga is the guru on wagtails so make sure you get his input before you buy.

I'd say whirlwind as well, easy to get the knack of if you are not used to Wagtail tools.

i see now why my other channels arent getting it right as they are unger ergotec channels and rounded off on the corners harshly.
looking at the pics of the wagtail you dogeared they are straight edged channels ..

where are you getting the red rubbers from m8

They are Wagtail rubbers, although the red ones may have changed to black now.

The whirlwind is basically the same but with a different pad.

both arrived today and i prefer the 12" blue ribband feels more comfortable than the 14" whirlwind ( arrived with ripped sleeve and not rounded corners version pad..phoned cleaning warehouse and sent me replacement pad. should my pad be green as it is blue on the whirlwind )
both feel really awkward to use , ive been repeatedly cleaning the inners on my conny to get to grips with it but a fantastic tool by taking away the need for 2 tools to do 1 job.
wish i was near someone who uses these to get a walkthru on it...
can see me using this a lot when ive got to grips with it and then ill try it with a pole.
just need to dog ear it now .

The pole brings out the beauty of the Wagtail - & no straight pulls either.
