Went out canvassing for the first time today. I was out for  only 2 hours and got myself my first 12 customers. i am very pleased with that. How many would you pro's expect to get if you went out canvassing all day.

That's cool.

I'm just starting out in the business, and i'm making a load of flyers up. Hopefully do some canvassing and leave a flyer too. And for the people who are not in, i'll post a flyer and hope they like it, and maybe they'll hear from the neighbour that i've spoke to them...
Word of mouth is good too especially with say the mum's work mates, their friends and their mums etc... women are good at chatting...use it to our advantage  Grin lol

Well done Solly, good for you!

But DON'T rest on your laurels. Go out and knock on more, because when you're on a roll, you attract more customers by your attitude. Trust me.

Forgive my ignorance, but these mobile homes - are you cleaning the windows in real caravans or on these converted portakabin monstrosities. If they're real caravans, why not chase them for an all-over clean with the wfp when the winter's finished? I think Duke does stuff like that and there's before and after pics of this on Peter's site too.

Maybe worth a chat to the site manager/owner - you never know!

Hi mate...I do STATIC Caravans, where people live..(other ones too)....I clean the whole shell (not roofs..well I will, but that's extra)...windows and walls...all with the pole...not regular cleans, maybe once or twice a year...£50 each.....but when there's a hundred on a site... Smiley

Thanx 4 your reply's chaps. i didnt know how 2 price them as ive not done it before. I am charging the double ones £7 and singles £6. They are mosly older peaple so i dont mind, i can always put it up by a £1 next year, i think i will be a bit slow at first, as i have only done my house.(not 2 quick). Trouble is a lot of the frames are filthy, would i be expected to clean them as well, or will the frames be extra.

I'd say it's down to the wc. I plan on cleaning the frames too, included in the price. I'm sure i'll get them wet and need to wipe them anyhow, so may aswell make the whole thing look clean eh.
