Bit of a daft question maybe but what temperature of water do you use for cleaning windows? I was always told hot water was best but how do you get hot water out with you when you're out on the round?

And if there's no one in? Which is more than likely considering most folks work.

don't use a bucket anymore, just 1ltr bottles filled with pre-mixed solution. Somtimes in realy cold weather it could be good to use hot water in the first bottle of water just to keep hands warm. Don't usually get wet hands with this method either and I use gloves if it's too cold, especially for first hour or so. Is it possible to make a window crack if the weather is freezing and you use hot water on it?

on hot days - COLD WATER when doing a traditional clean because the water just drys too quick when the water is hot!!!! and its much more pleasant using very cool to warm water than sticking your hands in a hot water bucket... so hot water is good for winter or colder days... sure hot water is better for cleaning.. but using in it summer is almost impossible when its a hot day..most window cleaners dont use hot any way because HOT means high temperature and it would be unbearable for your bare hands.....

probably...bored today as well...I went a bit mad and did all my work that was due or nearly due....now I've got nothing for a week... Oh well, back to canvassing and leaflet dropping....actually it's not too bad...it's half term next week and she's off (Teacher) so that was part of the reason....bit of time together...

I use hot, i have four rather large buckets with lids, my water at home is continuious gas so i just up the temperature when filling the buckets, by the end of the day the water is luke warm, thats in winter. summer never an issue, and I work locally so if i run out round lunchtime i am off home for a nice cuppa and something to eat fill the buckets and i am off on the road again....lol
