Hi again Bob. yes a crank is essensial. You can get one at any of the big suppliers such as Cleantech or Windowcleaning Warehouse.
Well done today. I wouldn't do your whole round with this system yet. Just do a small section and once you get it right then gradually incorporate it like I did. It takes a lot of practise, but if you persevere it will pay off big time.

wagga
i have the wagtail were the pad is velcoed to it and i noticed on the one you use it as a length of ali were you have put the cable ties thru
i found if i used the wagtail as it came ie the scrubber pad hangs down it caught on the bottom of the window and the rubber
i have velcroed it so it runs along the top rather than the bottom, one draw back, i now only have a small area of scrubber pad to wash the window
if this all makes sense can you throw any advice this way if you do things different
thanks

Hi again Bob, yes I use the old style Wagtail for pole at present. I do have the latest one but only use it for downstairs. I know exactly what you are saying about closing out and the pad getting stuck. Thats why I mount mine on top. I was lookiing at this just tody and did what u did to the new one and it's true that the pad is too small. Eiether buy the old one or figure out some way of attaching pad in a better way.
You should have two Wagtails one modified and one standard for downstiars.
You could try and get some SELF ADHESIVE VELCRO and stick it on the plastic just in front of the original.
If you find it wont flip too good, slide some wire in the pad for a bit of weight.
