Today I broke someones gutter and carefully replaced the broken bit, held in place with some moss, and went on my merry way .... Tongue

All of the above. Well all apart from the gutter. I don't think I would leave a gutter broken as it could cause damp on the property if unattended to.

was doing a large victorian house washing the glass above the door and i hit the light globe its megga big it fell and i caught it Smiley size of a football but there was a wee bit out of it Sad so i took it to a lighting shop and they said no way mate stopped making that years ago Sad so went back to the house rung the bell and tod the lady sorry etc and she could keep heR £35 SadSad as i drove out her drive her hubby chased after me ad said its was ok he had broke it years ago and gave me £ 40 for being honest Smiley there must be a morral there Tongue

i had something like that had my ladder on the side off a building left it didnt think oh its windy and that area is like a wind tunnel, next thing i know is crash it took out the carrosel clothes line i did the window's (the custy werent in) and seen her coming up the road told her not to pay me and im about to go get a new one for her got back there she paid me for the windows and paid half for it i told her not to she said no its fine see you next month

love my customers make up for all the bad ones out there they do  Smiley

left a gate open and the wind blew it shut so hard the lock flew off!!!
spent nxt 20 mins screwing it back on and if you ask portugeezer, my diy skills are not the best, when i went back to collect the old man was fitting a new 1  Grin

doorbells,ornaments,plantpots,them little black solar light things i had a bloke working ithink he was breaking them for fun,but my best trick was while wfp and talking to the custie at the same time i fell in their fish pond and murdered 1 of her fish Grin even she laughed i was creased up after, i clean her windows still today Grin

I smiled when I read this.
I have picked up a fair amount of work when customers have not been happy with their WFP WC. So its only right that some customers turn to you WFP guys when they are not happy with Trad.

Horses for Courses, There is plenty of work there for everyone.

Window looked shut, started WFP it and it opened in, knocked all ornaments off the window and sprayed water all in the bedroom. Done that twice! Not same house tho!

Also, again window looked completely shut, went to mop it, it swung open knocked a massive plant off and it landed in the woman's open dishwasher, soil all over it. Oops.  Grin
