Hi,

I have recently worked on a scheme where the client wants his windows cleaned from inside.  This may seem simple but the window is placed within the stairwell and is adjacent to two full height strips of glazed walling.  The designers proposals are to allow the window cleaner to clean windows from inside by reaching out the window and letting the cleaner stretch some form of pole system out the window to clean the adjacent glazed walling.

As window cleaners can you advise on whether this can be done or is there anywhere that will provide me guidance on how to clean this glazed walling from the window?

How high, how far?
I think it could be done, but not many window cleaners would want to take the equipment inside, due to any leaks etc. I have done it from inside, but with UK working restrictions, i.e. free access, obstructions, slips, extended poles on the inside of the building - I think you're pushing your luck. Best to make access from the outside. Try to upload a picture or a plan of some sort if you can.

Forget any stretching...or any other kind of unsafe practise....post a picture or 3 from all angles...inside and out...and I'll tell you how it can safely be done...if at all.
I hope the bill payer is prepared for a shock.
