a chap has a house with 3 stories - wondering what is the best way to reach the 3rd storey? what do you guys do?
it's the law to tie a ladder if going that high and besides my ladder isn't that tall. I can't afford WFP.
any other methods?

If your ladder won't reach and you don't have wfp the cheapest option would be to try and do it from inside

yeah loads, scaffolding, cherry picker...but impractical I guess..WFP would be the best way...but if that's not an option...then maybe you just have to forget it and pass it on to someone who can...it's not unheard of to swap jobs...if you know a friendly cleaner in your area.Just a thought.

duke, i think you are right though the guy is a nice chap so i would like to get the job.
a mate of mine has a wfp that reaches 3 stories - gonna do some work with it with him tmoz. i'll have to pass it to him.
unless as macroom suggests - i can do it from the inside but the problem there is that he has to be home.

Goin back a few years i used to clean the windscreens on aircraft, 757. 767 etc, used to hang right out the window, no harness. They wouldnt let u do that now, all h&s. Was a good laugh though, especially when the female flight crew walked past.
