Hi members, been looking at gutter cleaning as an add on now
Autumn and the leaves are falling are here.
These 1400 to 2000 watt vac motors are they robust enough
For just standard 2 story residential and light commercial work ?
Ya see some `pricey`pieces of kit around.
Jeff Brimble has pointed me in the right direction to start with.
What are normal type prices for cleaning.?
Also what tools are used for unblocking down pipes ?

Thanks in advance

I would reccon the easiest way to unblock a downpipe is with a drainage rod or a small drain jetter from the bottom up.

I use a Bailey Drain Rod kit that i picked up for approx £15 it has 10x 3ft rods and various end attachments for drains/down pipes etc. It does'nt get much use, but earnt the money back the first time i used it. You can pick a complete kit up for pennies on that well known E.b.aY auction site. Worth getting even if it sits in the van most of the time. (One day you will need to use it on your own property and be glad you got it).

weve tried all the ways and the easiest way we found to unblock downpipes is push a hose down it on full pressure and also push the hose across the guttering above conservatorys after loosening debris with a harris pole normally does the trick  Grin
