Somebody has asked me to clean a large area of decking that's gone all green. Any suggestions as to the best way to do it please?

Cheers

if youve got a powerfull jet wash wait until the wood is nice and dry or you will just blow it to pieces!!!

there is a bit more to it than mentioned, the wood will need oiled afterwards or it will rot, I am no expert and that is why I don't do it, but do your research guys Wink

i always reccomend the custie puts some kind of finish on it asap after ive cleaned it, at the end of the day its upto them if they do or dont if they havent specifically asked you to do it which most dont, i dont offer to as it makes it not worth while when you have to travel back when its dry and some decking areas are big and time consuming to treat.

I recommend the rotary cleaner on a 300psi pressure washer, Whirlaway works a treat for us every time. Just be careful to go with the wood grain.
